Treschietto
This headless female statue stele came to light in 1969 during the works for the arrangement of the cemetery in Treschietto (Bagnone, MS). It belongs to Group B and is dated to the Eneolithic period (between 3400/3300 and 2300/2000 BC). It has a roughly rectangular body and a tall and wide truncated-conical neck. The clavicular band is rather thin and in relief, and the upper limbs are slightly bent at the elbows. The hands are close together and depicted with parallel lines, with the thumb slightly curved. The breasts are protruding and show a hint of nipples. A collar made of overlapping rings occupies the entire neck.
The statue stele is preserved at the Museum of Pontremoli, where a cast is also available.
