Montecurto
This fragment of a male stele statue, at the time of its recognition in 1980, was located in a threshing floor in Montecurto (Fivizzano, MS). It belongs to Group C (D.175) and can be dated to the Iron Age, between the 8th and 6th centuries BC. It represents a part of the body with a curved clavicular band in relief, bent upper limbs with different angles. There are two parallel lines on the arm that could represent a sort of bracelet. An axe with a quadrangular blade and a long handle is placed in the right hand, occupying the center of the chest. A javelin is placed in the left hand.
The fragment is preserved at the Museum of Pontremoli.
