Malgrate V
This male sandstone stele statue, lacking a head, was recognized in 1968 after being used as a stone in the pillar of a fountain in the village of Malgrate (Villafranca in Lunigiana, MS). It is considered to have uncertain classification and dating. It has a roughly rectangular body with a probable depiction of the arm. Immediately below the arm, there is a dagger or sword in a rectangular sheath. The head number 35, Malgrate IV, could belong to this stele statue.
It is preserved at the Museum of Pontremoli, where a cast is also located.
