Filetto XI
This head of a statue stele was discovered in 1983 embedded in the wall of a house in Filetto (Villafranca in Lunigiana, MS). It belongs to Group B, as it features an arched head with lateral expansions, suggesting a dating to the Eneolithic period (between 3400/3300 and 2300/2000 BC). The face is carved in a “U” shape, elongated, and the neck is robust and truncated-conical in shape. On the sides of the face, there are four cup marks arranged in pairs.
It is preserved at the Museum of Pontremoli.
