Filetto X

The female statue stele was found in 1957 in the locality of “Casa Madonna” in Filetto (Villafranca in Lunigiana, MS). It belongs to Group B, indicating a dating to the Eneolithic period (between 3400/3300 and 2300/2000 BC). The statue is broken both in the upper and lower parts. It has a quadrangular shape with a lightly raised clavicular band, slightly bent upper limbs at the elbows, and small, close-set, and raised breasts. A semicircular necklace in relief descends from the clavicular band.

It is preserved at the Museum of Pontremoli.
