Filetto IX
The head of a stele statue found in Filetto (Villafranca in Lunigiana, MS) in 1961 within a wall of a field. Its classification and dating are uncertain. The shape of the head is semicircular, with a face depicted in a nearly “T” pattern. The eyes, represented as circular shapes, and the slightly raised nose are created by a subtle depression of the contour. The eyebrows are indicated.
It is preserved at the Museum of Pontremoli.
