Falcinello
This headless and partially broken female stele statue was found in 1975, walled up as a lintel above a window in the old city walls of Falcinello (Sarzana, SP). It belongs to Group B and can be dated to the Eneolithic period (between 3400/3300 and 2300/2000 BCE). The upper limbs, clavicular band, and hand representations without fingers are depicted. The breasts are realistically rendered. In the center, between the two hands, there is a cup-like depression that appears to be of more recent craftsmanship.
It is preserved at the Museum of Pontremoli.
